Who needs sleep?

Here we go..... moving again... However, this time I think it may actually be the last. We are leaving GA for TN. That being the case, my last 4 states of residence will have been AL, FL, GA, and TN. Hence the name of my blog.

Pam and the boys are already moved in and happy up there. They joined the pool and said it is alot of fun. I will be working here in Atlanta until July 13 (the same day we close on the sale of our house, I hope)!!! We moved most of our belongings last weekend with the help of my parents. Even though we would have been fine moving everything ourselves, it was so nice to have them there. I hope to be as good of a parent as I get older.....

TN is a beautiful state with very nice people. This fall is going to be fantastic with the change of colors on the trees. We got a long way to go though.....100 degrees predicted for here in Atlanta tomorrow.

Thought for the day: "Remember to be nice to someone everyday. It builds self-esteem, even if they don't reciprocate...."

First Blog Entry

The fall is here. One of my favorite seasons. Football, lack of oppresive heat, changing of leaf colors, etc.... Fall signifies change, and sometimes change is good.

For example, today I was fortunate enough to take my 2 year-old-son William out for a bike ride. He really enjoys these times as well. Our standard trip usually means a challenging ride to a destination. At that point, I release him from his seat, take off his helmet and chase him around in the fresh air. He loves being chased. Today it looked as if the skies were going to open up and spoil our ride, but it never happened. One of the things I enjoy is observing young children to see what they are interested in.

My older son is so excited about the start of the new season of "Clone Wars" that begins tonight. His favorite holiday is Halloween, and he gets to be a "Clone Trooper" that day. My wife, Pam, purchased his costume already to amp up the excitement. He will be one of MANY "Star Wars" themed characters for the neighborhood Halloween party.
